Over the next two weeks, BadgerBlitz.com will be bringing you snapshots for each recruited position, covering the targets who are legitimate prospects on Wisconsin's board in the 2019 class. We will discuss the candidates who are most interested in the Badgers, as well as those who are considered long shots to commit to UW.
As always, this is just a snapshot in time and things remain fluid. Additional offered targets will appear over the next few months and some recruits will inevitably choose other colleges.
Today, we continue with a look at the tight ends.

There's little reason to panic, but tight end is probably one of the the thinnest positions on the current roster. This fall, Wisconsin has just five scholarship players - Troy Fumagalli, Zander Neuville, Kyle Penniston, Luke Benzschawel and true freshman Jake Ferguson - on the roster. Help is coming in the 2018 class, though, with both Cormac Sampson and Jaylan Franklin expected to start at tight end.
In order to bolster depth, position coach Mickey Turner may look to take two scholarship players at the position in 2019. If that were the case, adding an in-line end and H-back would make sense. That said, the Badgers have been very selective with offers thus far...
