Over the next two weeks, BadgerBlitz.com will be bringing you snapshots for each recruited position, covering the targets who are legitimate prospects on Wisconsin's board in the 2019 class. We will discuss the candidates who are most interested in the Badgers, as well as those who are considered long shots to commit to UW.
As always, this is just a snapshot in time and things remain fluid. Additional offered targets will appear over the next few months and some recruits will inevitably choose other colleges.
Today, we continue with a look at the defensive tackles.

Wisconsin is awfully thin at defensive tackle on the current. With Jeremy Patterson (transfer) no longer part of the program, junior Olive Sagapolu and sophomore Garrett Rand have worked on the inside during fall camp and are the only scholarship athletes at the position. Bryson Williams is committed in the 2018 class but there's also a chance Sagapolu could have an opportunity in the NFL if he plays well this fall.
It's surprising the Badgers didn't make it a point to take two nose guards in the 2018 class. So will the staff look to do that in 2019? It may very well be a necessity...
