Wisconsin's 2018 in-state class doesn't feature any four-star or Rivals250 prospects. But the talent amongst this specific group of juniors is deep with nearly 30 athletes already holding a Division 1 offer.

With summer camps just around the corner, BadgerBlitz.com provides an overview of the recruiting activity from inside the border.

Quarterbacks

The headliner: Franklin's Max Alba -

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound quarterback is still looking for his first Division 1 offer in football. But the multi-sport athlete already has double-digit scholarships to pitch at the next level. On the gridiron, Michigan State and Iowa, among other schools, have shown interest in Alba, who led the Sabers to a Division 1 state title appearance in 2016.

Keep an eye on: Nate Carter - The junior from powerhouse Waunakee High School has great size at 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds. He's currently hearing from Iowa, Central Michigan, Ball State and North Dakota State, among others.

Others: Monona Grove's Alec Ogden and Catholic Memorial's Ben Nimz are also receiving Division 1 interest.

Running Backs

The headliner: Green Bay Preble's Henry Geil -

The three-star prospect committed to Iowa in April over offers from Indiana, Iowa State and Michigan State, among others. Wisconsin would like Geil to camp this summer in order to earn a scholarship.

Keep an eye on: Erick Doke - The standout from Kenosha Bradford made an early commitment to Northern Illinois, but a handful of schools, including Iowa and Michigan State, are still monitoring his progress. At 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, Doke could also project to linebacker at the next level.

Others: Wisconsin legacy Javian Dayne is still looking for his first offer, while Kimberly's D.J. Stewart has scholarships from North Dakota State, Illinois State and Northern Iowa.

Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

The headliner: Waukesha Catholic Memorial's Michael Naze -

Naze, part of Memorial's state title team last fall, visited Wisconsin unofficially for the spring game in April. He currently holds offers from Ball State, Illinois State, Navy and Western Illinois.

Keep an eye on: Isaiah Westfall - A handful of Big Ten schools, including Wisconsin, are keeping tabs on the 6-foot-3, 175-pound receiver from Wisconsin Rapids.

Others: Two Rivers' wide out junior Darquise Winters has an offer from Navy, while tight ends Tanner Johnson and Jack McNeil have heard from Division 1 schools.

Offensive Line

The headliner: Bay Port's Jack Plumb -

Plumb, a multi-sport athlete, is one of the most intriguing prospects in the state. He just recently picked up an offer from Iowa and is receiving strong interest from Wisconsin, Arizona State, Minnesota and Purdue, among others. The 6-foot-8, 250-pound projected tackle will be someone to watch closely at Wisconsin's camp this summer.

Keep an eye on: Cody Ince - Virginia, Northern Illinois and Western Illinois have already offered Ince, who is also receiving strong interest from Wisconsin.

Others: As expected, offensive line is Wisconsin's deepest in-state group. Trevor Shohoney, Andrew Lyons, Zach Mueller and Jarrett Horst already hold offers, while Ryan Possley, Brandon Malkow, Rajveer Singh and Jacob Edwards could all join that group in the near future.

Defensive Line

The headliner: Kimberly's Boyd Dietzen -

Dietzen, from powerhouse Kimberly High School, committed to Wisconsin in February over offers from Minnesota, Iowa State and Syracuse, among others. He had 56 total tackles and 15 sacks as a junior

Keep an eye on: Logan Hendrickson - The standout from Unity High School already has offers from Northern Illinois, Western Illinois and Indiana State. Wisconsin is also keeping tabs on the 6-foot-5, 230-pound end.

Others: Like offensive line, the defensive line is a deep and talented group. At end, R.J. Clarke and Blake Fehrmann should see their offer lists expand this summer, while Caleb Wright, Connor Faucett, Cole Godbout and Brady Weas all have scholarship potential. Inside, Joe Tinglehoff, Jordan Schroeder and Jack Kern have garnered early attention.

Linebackers

The headliners: Waukesha Catholic Memorial's CJ Goetz and Menomonie's Mason Platter - Goetz and Platter both jumped on scholarship opportunities from Wisconsin in February.

Keep an eye on: Mike Bruner - The former Iowa commit is back on the market and it will be interesting to see what schools jump in the mix for the projected outside backer.

Others: Another strong group, Reggie Jennings is an intriguing prospect from Brookfield Central who will play at the FBS level. Marty Strey, Cody Jantzen and Clay Schueffner are working to get to that status.

Defensive Backs

The headliner: Menasha's Trent Ingalls -

After earning an offer at Wisconsin's camp last summer, Ingalls became commit No. 2 for the Badgers in the 2018 class last fall.

Keep an eye on: L.O. Johnson - The Waunakee speedster and Wisconsin legacy is nearing double-digit scholarship offers. He'll have a chance to impress the UW coaches at camp this summer.

Others: Projected safeties Joe Heffernan (Central Michigan) and Chandler Pulvermacher (Western Illinois) already hold scholarships.

Athletes

The headliner: Waukesha North's Will McDonald -

One of the top athletes in the state, McDonald made an early commitment to Iowa State in February. The three-star prospect could play outside linebacker, defensive end, tight end or wide receiver in college.

Keep an eye on: Cormac Sampson - Wisconsin invited four prospects to its selective junior day in February. Dietzen, Platter and Goetz all earned offers, while Sampson was told the staff would continue to monitor his progress. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end/defensive end already holds a handful of scholarships.

Others: Ben Dunkleberger, Brady Schipper, Jackson Enz and Peter MacCudden are intriguing athletes who could play on either side of the ball at the next level.
