Wisconsin's in-state countdown: No. 26-30

Wisconsin's 2018 in-state class doesn't feature a four-star prospect, but the group is extremely deep with over 19 Division 1 commitments as of July 5.

As we count down the days before the start of the 2017 high school football season, BadgerBlitz.com ranks the top seniors in the state, continuing with prospects 26 through 30.

No. 46-50 | No. 41-45 | No. 36-40 | No. 31-35 |

Offers: Ohio, Louisiana Tech

The word: Fullback Tyler Zirpoli was a big reason why Waukesha West tailback Peter MacCudden ran for over 2,000 yards last fall. Zirpoli, who reported a 4.61-second 40-yard dash time, has also heard from Iowa, South Dakota State, North Dakota, Illinois State and Western Illinois this offseason.

No. 29B - Offensive lineman Brandon Malkow

Offers: Columbia, Western Illinois, South Dakota State and Northern Michigan

The word: Offensive lineman Brandon Malkow, a first-team all-conference selection as a junior, has already visited Wisconsin a handful of times. He's also taken trips to Iowa, Minnesota, Minnesota, Northwestern and Iowa State, among others, this offseason. At 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds, Malkow, who is also an excellent student at Beloit Turner, has ideal size for the next level.

No. 29A - Athlete Ben Dunkleberger

Offers: Bemidji State, Minnesota State, Navy, Western Illinois

The word: Ben Dunkleberger put up gaudy numbers as a junior: 4,111 all-purpose yards and 55 total touchdowns. A first-team all-conference selection at quarterback this past fall, Dunkleberger recently set the WIAA Division 2 state triple jump record in June.

No. 28 - Safety Chandler Pulvermacher

Offers: North Dakota State, Indiana State, Cornell, South Dakota, Western Illinois, Bemidji State

The word: Chandler Pulvermacher is next in line from powerhouse Arrowhead High School. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound safety visited for the Badgers junior day this winter. Since then, he's picked up six offers with interest also coming from Wyoming, Minnesota, North Dakota and Iowa, among others.

No. 27 - Defensive end Josh Dinga

Offers: Illinois State, Western Illinois, Northern Iowa

The word: At 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, Josh Dinga has ideal size for a defensive end. As a junior, the standout from Sun Prairie recorded 39 tackles, 10 sacks and one interception. More offers are likely on the way if Dinga chooses to extend his recruitment into the fall.

No. 26 - Athlete Jackson Enz

Committed to: North Dakota State

The word: Big Foot athlete Jackson Enz chose North Dakota State in June over offers from Northern Iowa, North Dakota, Western Illinois, Indiana State, Illinois State and South Dakota State. As a junior, Enz was a WFCA all-state honorable mention selection after he threw for 2,167 yards and 15 touchdowns and led the Chiefs with 770 yards rushing and 15 scores.
