MADISON, Wis. - The No. 16 Wisconsin Badgers (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) will welcome the Nebraska Cornhuskers (0-4, 0-2) to Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday night, and BadgerBlitz.com will be there to take in all of the action.

Our three keys for the game are included below, along with score predictions from our staff.

FIRST READ: SHOW MORE EXPLOSIVENESS ON OFFENSE

Wisconsin's offense saved the day during the four quarter of their game against Iowa, tacking on two touchdowns to help them pull away from the Hawkeyes and secure a key win over a Big Ten West opponent. But Wisconsin's offense was up and down during the game, and they still haven't put together an impressive four-quarter performance. This roster has the talent to put more points on the board than they have, and the bye week gave the UW players a chance to take a breath and see what they could improve on. With Nebraska's defense struggling to stop teams this year, this week would be a good time for Wisconsin's offense to show the high ceiling many program watchers expected in the preseason.

SECOND READ: EYES ON THE PRIZE

It's important that the Badgers take this trophy game with the Cornhuskers seriously, and not get caught looking a week ahead to their game against Michigan in Ann Arbor. Wisconsin's loss to BYU earlier this season has left them with no margin for error down the stretch - but the players have said during the week they know now that they can't expect to beat a team just by showing up. If the Badgers continue focusing on the game in front of them they should be ok - and if they handle Nebraska this weekend it should help their confidence as they move deeper in to the season.

THIRD READ: BEND BUT DON'T BREAK

Wisconsin's defense has yet to live up to the high expectations they had set for themselves in the preseason, but even though they've taken big steps back in yards allowed per play they've still found ways to keep teams out of the end zone. Nebraska's offense will take some shots with freshman quarterback Adrian Martinez and a deep group of wide receivers, so it will be important for the Badgers to keep that trend going, even if they do give up some big plays. Improved play on third down would go a long way for the Badgers, who need to start getting opposing offenses off of the field quicker if they want to stay out of trouble.

BADGERBLITZ.COM SCORE PREDICTIONS

John Veldhuis: Wisconsin 42, Nebraska 24

I think the Badgers handled their bye week the right way, and the offense seems a little more confident after battling back to win the Iowa game on the road. Maybe this is the week we see the UW offense we were expecting to see during fall camp - Nebraska is going through some growing pains, and if the Badgers can get out to a fast start I like their chances this weekend.

Jon McNamara: Wisconsin 37, Nebraska 10

The bye week came at a great time for Wisconsin after a physical Iowa game. And with two weeks to prepare for a Nebraska team in full rebuild mode, I expect this one to controlled by the Badgers from start to finish. I'm keeping an eye out for bigger chunk plays from the running backs and more pressure in the backfield from Jim Leonhard's defense Saturday night.
