Over the next two weeks, BadgerBlitz.com will be bringing you snapshots for each recruited position, covering the targets who are legitimate prospects on Wisconsin's board in the 2020 class. We will discuss the candidates who are most interested in the Badgers, as well as those who are considered long shots to commit to UW.
As always, this is just a snapshot in time and things remain fluid. Additional offered targets will appear over the next few months and some recruits will inevitably choose other colleges.
Today, we continue with a look at the wide receivers.
Quick Breakdown
Outside of the offensive line, Ted Gilmore's position group is arguably the deepest on the entire 2018 roster. Wisconsin has four proven Big Ten receivers in Quintez Cephus, A.J. Taylor, Danny Davis and Kendric Pryor, and a true freshman in Aron Cruickshank who exploded during the end of spring camp.
Cephus and Taylor will be gone by the time the 2020 class arrives on campus, but we should a better idea what some of the unproven talent on the current roster - Cruickshank, Cade Green, Emmet Perry, A.J. Abbott, Taj Mustapha and Isaac Guerendo - can bring to the table. If Marcus Graham ends up being the only scholarship receiver Wisconsin signs in the 2019 cycle, two or three seems like a realistic number in 2020.
