Four-star ILB Payton Pierce makes return trip to Wisconsin with his family

Jon McNamara is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has covered UW athletics since 2002 and has worked at Rivals.com since 2006.

Payton Pierce, a four-star junior from Lovejoy High School in Texas, visited Wisconsin for the first time and picked up an offer from the Badgers in April.

This weekend, the No. 35 prospect in the 2024 recruiting class made a return visit to Madison for UW's home contest against Illinois.
