Wisconsin and Northwestern, which square off Saturday, had some key head-to-head recruiting battles over the last few years. BadgerBlitz.com takes a closer look at those five prospects, plus more, inside.

*Note: Prospects in this report only includes athletes on the Wildcats' current roster.

No. 1: Safety Godwin Igwebuike (6-foot, 212-pound senior)

Recruiting story: Pickertington North High School in Ohio has been a popular place for Wisconsin over the few years and the Badgers were heavily involved with Godwin Igwebuike in the 2013 class. In the end, Igwebuike, who was being recruited as a running back by UW, picked Northwestern over offers from Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, N.C. State, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest and Wisconsin. This season from his safety position, Igwebuike is second on the team in tackles with 22. In the 2013 class, Wisconsin signed safeties Keelon Brookins, Matt Hubley and Donnell Vercher - none of whom are on the roster this season.

No. 2: Linebacker Paddy Fisher (6-foot-4, 245-pound redshirt freshman)
