As always, this is just a snapshot in time and things remain fluid. Additional offered targets will appear over the next few months and some recruits will inevitably choose other colleges. Quick Breakdown

Wisconsin is absolutely loaded at the inside linebacker position. The Badgers lost two impact players to season-ending injuries in 2016 - Chris Orr and Jack Cichy - but never missed a beat with TJ Edwards, Ryan Connelly and Leon Jacobs picking up the slack. Behind them, the staff is very high on true freshman Griffin Grady, along with youngsters Nick Thomas, Jake Whalen and Dallas Jeanty. With that depth, the staff is not expected to sign an inside linebacker in the 2017 class.

In 2018, defensive coordinator and position coach Justin Wilcox will look to replace Cichy and Jacobs, who are heading into their senior seasons at Wisconsin. With that, two scholarship players on the inside seems realistic early on.
