The Wisconsin Badgers added four-star offensive lineman Logan Brown to their 2019 recruiting class Sunday. Here's what Brown's commitment means for head coach Paul Chryst moving forward.
Skillset
At 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds, Logan Brown, because of his size and athletic ability, is seemingly everything you're looking for in a future left tackle. He's powerful at the line of scrimmage, fast enough to contain edge rushers and agile enough to move to the second level. Brown also has that "bend" and flexibility necessary to play on the edge
"They're getting a big, strong, athletic, hard-working kid," East Kentwood (MI) High School coach Marty Martens told BadgerBlitz.com. "He's extremely dedicated and loyal - not just to football but to his family and friends. He's going to be a great teammate and one of the hardest workers at Wisconsin. He's going to make sure to bring the best out in himself and also in the people around him."
Brown could work on his strength and desire to drive opponents to the ground, but he has plenty of time to add that nasty streak to his game. He's currently the No. 3 offensive tackle in the 2019 class behind only Darnell Wright and Devontae Dobbs.
