WR Emmet Perry a key part of DeSoto's state championship
It's a bit of a stretch to say Emmet Perry is the reason powerhouse DeSoto High School in Texas went from a 6-6 team in 2015 to undefeated (16-0) state champions just one year later.
But the 6-foot-2, 165-pound wide receiver, who is committed to Wisconsin, was exactly what the Eagles' offense needed, according to position coach Terrance Orr.
