The Word: After receiving commitments from two of the top three prospects in February's Sweet 16, there's a new name atop the list: three-star running back Jahmir Smith. The North Carolina native was on campus from March 13-14 and was told by the staff that he's a "high priority" target.
"The coaches just said I was a top priority for them in this class," Smith told BadgerBlitz.com. "Coach (John) Settle and coach (Paul) Chryst were really cool and funny. Coach Settle is really laid back and chill.
"I really liked what I saw on the visit and Wisconsin is a great option. I really didn't expect it to be that nice, but I knew they had great academics coming in."
Look for Smith to narrow his focus at some point this spring.
