MADISON - After Wisconsin lost to Minnesota for the second straight year, sinking the Badgers to 6-6 on the season, it was a foregone conclusion that changes to the program would be coming within 24 hours.

Those changes took a turn for the dramatic Sunday morning, when ESPN first reported that Wisconsin is targeting current University of Cincinnati head coach Luke Fickell to be its next coach.

Wisconsin and athletic director Chris McIntosh are making a huge decision hiring from outside of the program. They're showing a willingness to adapt to the times, along with a boldness and national presence that this program hasn't been known for.
