In his season debut, Nakia Watson rushed for three touchdowns and 228 yards - including TD runs of 77 and 72 yards - during a 35-28 win over College Station.
Chase Wolf engineered a comeback win for St. Xavier, which was down 14-o in the fourth quarter against Colerain High School. The three-star prospect completed 10-of-16 passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns - one coming on the ground, which proved to be the game winner. St. X won in overtime, 20-17.
Jaylan Franklin and Carlson High School won 42-14 against Trenton. The future tight end completed 6-of 8-passes from his quarterback position for 84 yards and scored three touchdowns - one coming on the ground.
Isaac Guerendo continued to put up big numbers this season. The two-star prospect had six catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns during a 38-7 win over Hamilton Southeastern.
West Bloomfield lost to Bloomfield Hills, 28-24, Saturday. Neither Abbott or Mustapha found the end zone in the loss.
Culver City got its 2017 season going with a 58-27 win over West Torrance on Friday.
Kimberly improved to 3-0 on the season after a 28-18 win over Stevens Point.
Lincoln Southeast fell to Lincoln Southwest, 21-14. Bryson Williams had a fourth-quarter touchdown, his third of the season as a fullback.
Catholic Memorial stayed perfect after a 35-24 win over Arrowhead. CJ Goetz had three receptions for 28 yards.
Eau Claire Memorial (3-0) posted a 24-20 win over Superior Friday evening. Cormac Sampson caught two passes for 21 yards and one touchdown. The three-star prospect also had five total tackles.
Harvest Prep beat Franklin Heights, 44-14, Friday evening.
Lake Zurich won 28-7 against Montini on Friday. Led by Jack Sanborn, the Bears' defense held Montini to 190 yards of total offense.
Memomonie also moved to 3-0 on the season after a 41-20 win over River Falls.
Milan defeated St. Mary Catholic Central, 41-18.
River Rogue improved to 1-1 on the season after a 28-8 win over Cody.
Atascocita High School - which is near Houston - has not started its football season.
