OSHKOSH - Week 1 of the BadgerBlitz.com in-state blitz took us to the University of Oshkosh, where 2018 Wisconsin commit Mason Platter and his Menomonie teammates kicked off the 2017 season.

The Mustangs did not allow a first down during the game's first seven drives and cruised to a 40-victory over Oshkosh North Friday evening.

Platter, a 6-foot-5, 226-pound outside linebacker, played just two quarters for Menomonie, which had a running clock for all of the second half.
