FOND DU LAC - Week 1 of the BadgerBlitz.com in-state Blitz took us to Fond du Lac, where 2018 Wisconsin commit Boyd Dietzen and his Kimberly teammates kicked off the 2017 season.

The Papermakers, owners of the nation's longest winning streak, scored in the last minute of the contest to secure a 35-28 comeback victory on the road Friday.

"It was crazy," Dietzen told BadgerBlitz.com. "Their (Fond du Lac) last game was against us (2016 playoffs), so I know they've been hunting all offseason to get back at us. It was just great to come out with a victory and the atmosphere was just absolutely insane. Closest to the best that I've ever seen."

A 6-foot-3, 226-pound defensive end, Dietzen faced double and even triple-teams most of the night but still finished with seven total tackles.
