Stat pack: North Dakota
MADISON - Frank Kaminsky's big night is obviously the headliner, but there were a few other stats worth noting in Wisconsin's 103-85 win on Tuesday night at the Kohl Center. Let's take a look inside the stat sheet:

-- Kaminsky scored a school-record 43 points on just 19 shots from the floor and six free throw shots. He was a perfect 6-for-6 on 3-pointers, scoring four of those six three-pointers in the first half when the result was still in question.
-- In addition to breaking the school record, Kaminsky's 43 points are the second-most scored by a Division 1 player this year.
-- Apart from Kaminsky's big day, the Badgers also topped 100 points scored for the first time since Dec. 28, 1995, when they beat Eastern Illinois 105-70. Their previous high at the Kohl Center was a 99-55 win over Prairie View A&M on Nov. 14, 2010.
-- The game was pretty back and forth in the early going, with the Badgers up just 25-24 at the 9:04 minute mark in the first half. Kaminsky's back-to-back 3-pointers kick started an 18-4 run, which gave the Badgers a 43-28 lead with 5:45 left to play in the first half.
-- North Dakota head coach Brian Jones chose to start his second-string against the Badgers, eventually pulling them for his usual starting lineup. As a result North Dakota finished the game with 69-9 advantage in bench points, which goes to show that even numbers can lie on occasion.
-- A few other Badgers had season-high performances, even if they were overshadowed by Kaminsky. Sam Dekker finished with a season-high 19 points, and has scored in double figures in 13 of his last 16 games if you include last season as well.
-- Traevon Jackson also scored a season-high 14 points, but what might be more impressive is that he finished the game with an 8-to-1 assist to turnover ratio in 33 minutes of action. The Badgers needed him to cut down on turnovers from last year, and thus far Jackson has stepped up a little bit.
-- True freshman point guard Bronson Koenig played in 21 minutes against North Dakota as a backup to Jackson, who finished the game with 33 minutes played. Koenig made the most of his minutes though: he scored five points on 2-of-3 shooting, and had two assists and no turnovers.
-- Head coach Bo Ryan said he jokingly got on Kaminsky for not having any assists as part of his 43-point effort, but Kaminsky also finished with just three total rebounds. That's definitely an area the Badgers will want Kaminsky to work on, even though it's hard to pull down rebounds when the other team is shooting 54.5 percent from the floor. North Dakota also outscored the Badgers 13-7 in second-chance points.
