In a hypothetical where spring basketball and/or AAU season are canceled, does that help/hurt/not impact the Badgers chances with Julian Roper?
The same thought on Julian Roper popped into my head just recently. Fear isn't the best word, but the worry with Roper seemed to be that Wisconsin could be knocked from the top spot if the 2021 standout blew up on the EYBL circuit. But if schools (i.e. Michigan State and Michigan) can't offer based on his performance this spring and summer, you have to go back to the programs that were in the best position prior. That, in my opinion, is Wisconsin, with Missouri also in the picture. Ultimately, I think it helps UW in its pursuit of Roper.
