MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Badgers were back inside the McClain Center for practice on Tuesday morning, and BadgerBlitz.com was there to take in all of the action. Our practice report from the day is included below.

Eye on the Quarterbacks

SKELETON DRILLS

Alex Hornibrook: 6-for-11, INT (Deflection)

Kare' Lyles: 1-for-3

Jack Coan: 2-for-3

--

TEAM DRILLS

Alex Hornibrook: 11-for-19

Kare' Lyles: 4-for-7

Jack Coan: 4-for-5

--

REDZONE SKELETON DRILLS

Alex Hornibrook: 6-for-14, 3 TDs, 1 INT (Deflection), 2 drops

--

It wasn't a great day for Alex Hornibrook during passing drills, but even when he's a little off it's still easy to see flashes of his true ability. He's still displaying a particular knack for the deep ball, and showed a good connection with his tight ends - particularly Troy Fumagalli and Zander Neuville on Tuesday - during both team drills and during red zone work. The tight end will always be a big part of Wisconsin's offense, but Hornibrook definitely feels comfortable trying to fit the ball in to tight windows when he's targeting them.
