Pagitte McGee Names his Favorite

Pagitte McGee said Wednesday night his list of finalists remains the same – Wisconsin, TCU and Oklahoma State – but the more he contemplates his decision, the more he feels like he could be heading to Madison.
“They are my favorite, because it’s far away and I want to play for a big school in a different atmosphere,” McGee said. “I still haven’t made up my mind, but Wisconsin is a good team that’s coming up in the future, and they really want me.”

McGee said he could make his decision on Signing Day, and doesn’t feel ready to make it for at least another couple of weeks. A prospective engineering or marketing major, McGee said Wisconsin has great programs in both, but he is looking heavily at each school’s educational offerings and weighing them against each other.
Coach Barry Alvarez and Coach Jeff Horton visited McGee’s home in December, and McGee said he felt like the Badgers have him in their plans.
He said he knows there will be some stiff competition at linebacker, but he feels like he could get in the mix for playing time if given an opportunity.
“When the clock ticks, I’m ready to go. I’m in the zone, and I’m ready,” McGee said. “Coaches love the way I run to the ball, and what I do when I get there. When I get to the ball, I finish it.”
