On the recruiting front: Wisconsin Badgers vs. Penn State Nittany Lions

Wisconsin and Penn State, which open the 2021 season on Sept. 4 in Madison, had some key head-to-head recruiting battles over the last few years. BadgerBlitz.com takes a closer look inside.

BIGGEST WINS FOR PENN STATE

Recruiting story: In the 2020 recruiting class, Wisconsin was in the top group for four-star defensive tackle Cole Brevard. In the summer of 2019, the Badgers were expected to officially host the Rivals250 prospect but, instead, Brevard made an early commitment to Penn State. Clemson, Florida State, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Oregon, among others, also offered during his recruitment. The Badgers did not sign a defensive tackle in the 2020 cycle.
