There was a strong feeling that Faion Hicks would commit to Wisconsin in the days leading up to his official visit.

And after experiencing a game day in Madison, that's exactly what happened as the 5-foot-10, 184-pound senior become pledge No. 11 for the Badgers in the 2017 class.

Hicks, a three-star prospect from Pembroke Pines High School in Florida, is the second cornerback for Wisconsin in the current cycle, along with Madison Cone, who also took his official visit this weekend.

With plans to enroll early, Hicks chose the Badgers over offers from Iowa State, Illinois, Cincinnati and South Florida, among others.

With roughly two or three remaining spots in this class, Wisconsin may have room for one more cornerback. Three-star Christian Cumber is expected on campus for his official visit at the end of the month.
