In 2023 recruiting class, former Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst secured a commitment from Trey Pierce, a pledge he eventually backed away from after the coaching transition in Madison.

In the 2025 cycle, first-year coach Luke Fickell and his staff are working on Pierce's younger brother, Christian Pierce, a sophomore linebacker who was on campus Tuesday.
