Wisconsin has just one player from the state of Michigan - sophomore offensive lineman David Moorman - on its current roster.

But that number will double this summer when 2017 signee Scott Nelson (University of Detroit Jesuit High) arrives on campus and continue to grow - at least on paper - with a commitment from 2018 safety Reggie Pearson (River Rouge). Behind the efforts of assistant coach Mickey Turner, who is quickly making inroads in the Wolverine State, UW fans can expect that trend to continue in the foreseeable future.
