Jim Leonhard went into Florida and snagged Ricardo Hallman, a four-star cornerback from Fort Lauderdale, in the 2021 recruiting class.

In the junior cycle, Wisconsin's defensive coordinator went roughly 100 miles north to Fort Pierce in order to extend his most recent offer to James Monds III, a three-star prospect from Westwood High School.
