In the thick of one of the most difficult seasons in recent memory, Wisconsin has continued to monitor a number of prospects from across the country in the 2018 class.
With Taylor Currie and Joe Hedstrom, who will go on scholarship at the start of the 2019-2020 season, already signed, who do the Badgers have the best chance to pair them with in the senior cycle? BadgerBlitz.com takes a look below:
Schools involved: Wisconsin, Kansas, Texas A&M, Oregon State, Texas and Colorado State, among others
The skinny: Ochai Agbaji, an athletic wing from Kansas City, recently picked up an offer from Wisconsin. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound three-star senior was born in Milwaukee before he moved to Missouri at the age of six.
"They’re (UW) very interested in me and they are looking for a wing - I fit their description," Agbaji told BadgerBlitz.com. "They are going to try to make it to one of my games soon. But after the season I’m planning on going to visit."
While the Badgers are in a good position moving forward, there is strong feeling that Kansas could offer in the spring. Should that happen, Agbaji, who has one official visit set to Oregon State in February, could be difficult to land.
"I'm just looking for the school that's the right fit," Agbaji Rivals.com. "A school that I can go in and be effective as a freshman right away. I'd probably be a better fit in uptempo but that doesn't really matter because I just want a good coach who can make me better as a player."
Prediction: Kansas
