Hammon fills final spot for UW

With Jacoby Brissett likely headed to either Florida or Miami later this evening, Wisconsin announced the singing of in-state prospect Nate Hammon moments ago.
Hammon received a late offer from Wisconsin earlier this week, though the specifics of his scholarship depended on Brissett's decision. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect will be on full scholarship, however, the school announced Friday.

An honorable mention all-state selection as a senior by the Associated Press and WFCA, Hammon is expected to start at either wide receiver or safety when he arrives on campus this summer.
The Milton, Wis. prospect is the 20th member of Wisconsin's 2011 recruiting class.
Hammon's signing puts UW at 89 projected scholarship players heading into the 2011 season. It is likely a few players on the current roster will transfer before the start of spring camp.
