In the 2019 recruiting class, Wisconsin went into Kansas and landed four-star quarterback Graham Mertz, a projected starter at the position this fall.

In the rising junior cycle, the Badgers are hoping to have similar success in the Sunflower State after extending an offer to Avery Johnson, a four-star prospect from Maize High School.
