Wisconsin has received a commitment from one of its top overall targets in the 2018 class.

Wednesday, four-star linebacker Jack Sanborn committed to the Badgers over scholarships from Duke, Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, Northwestern and Vanderbilt, among others, with strong interest coming from Ohio State and Michigan.

"Wisconsin has everything to offer," Sanborn told Rivals.com. "I believe I can't go wrong there. They have the academics, great football, the campus is amazing and I feel comfortable there with all the coaches and players."

A 6-foot-2, 210-pound junior from Lake Zurich High School in Illinois, Sanborn is pledge No. 8 for UW in the 2018 class. It's a linebacker-heavy group with C.J. Goetz and Mason Platter also in the mix.
