MADISON, Wis. – The latest season opener in school history is finally here.
After seemingly the longest offseason in modern history, No.14 Wisconsin will play its first game in over nine months when it hosts Illinois tonight at Camp Randall Stadium. With spring practices canceled due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and fall camp being shuttered to the outside world due to health concerns, the Badgers will be an unknown commodity when they take the field tonight against an Illini team that beat them a season ago.
With that in mind, here are five burning questions I have about Wisconsin heading into tonight’s season opener.
