The Big Ten released its all-conference selections for both defense and special teams on Tuesday, and several Wisconsin Badgers were honored by the league's coaches and media members.

Junior inside linebacker T.J. Edwards and junior cornerback Nick Nelson were consensus first-team selections, and D'Cota Dixon was a first-team selection by the Big Ten coaches.

Senior defensive end Alec James and junior kicker Rafael Gaglianone were both consensus second-team selections, and seniors Conor Sheehy and Garret Dooley were second-team selections by the coaches as well.

Senior cornerback Derrick Tindal was a third-team selection by the coaches, and linebacker Ryan Connelly, safety Joe Ferguson, linebacker Leon Jacobs, safety Natrell Jamerson, and nose guard Olive Sagapolu were all honorable mentions.

That means that all eleven of Wisconsin's regular defensive starters this season earned at least an honorable mention from the conference at the end of the season.
