Early in his high school career, Davion Williams was known more for his success on the basketball court with Detroit, Eastern Michigan and Oakland all offering scholarships.

But as the 6-foot-2, 178-pound athlete from Belleville High School continued to progress, he realized football would be his primary focus at the next level.
