Coach: Badgers commit Jordan Mayer 'can be whatever they want to make him'
When Chris Haering, who spent 17 seasons as the head coach at Mt. Lebanon High School in Pennsylvania, saw Jordan Mayer, he envisioned a future tight end.
When Bobby April and Jim Leonhard entered the mix, Wisconsin's focus turned to outside linebacker. And when the dust settled after Mayer's official visit this past weekend, the Badgers had commit No. 7 in the 2023 recruiting class.
