A 6-foot, 182-pound prospect from Grayslake, Ill., Booker performed extremely well at the Badgers' summer camp in front of position coach Ben Strickland. The two-star prospect later committed to Indiana in early July but UW stayed on him throughout the fall.
"They feel like I have all the intangibles to play at Wisconsin," Booker said in a previous interview. "They like my speed and they know that my academics aren't the best, but they know that I've worked hard to bring them up from what they were. I talked with coach (Gary) Andersen and we talked about what needs to be done moving forward."
Xzavien Ausborne and Takadrae Williams are Wisconsin's projected cornerbacks in the current class, the position where Booker worked at this summer. He also has the ability to play safety at the next level.
With Booker's pledge, Wisconsin now has 23 known commitments in the current class. Projected cornerbacks Chris Barr and T.J. Griffin were also on campus this weekend on official visits.
