Jon McNamara

Team Coverage and Recruiting Publisher
Jon McNamara began with BadgerBlitz.com under former Publisher Paul Day in the summer of 2006. After helping with recruiting and team coverage, Rivals.com hired McNamara in June of 2007 to take over as Publisher of BadgerBlitz.com.
McNamara has covered Wisconsin athletics since 2002 during his time with the Daily Cardinal. He was elected sports editor for the student newspaper during his final year at the University of Wisconsin. McNamara also earned an internship at the Capital Times in the fall of 2004 and continued to string for the newspaper until he accepted a position with BadgerBlitz.com.
Before joining Rivals.com on a full-time basis, McNamara received his undergraduate degree in Journalism and English from the UW in 2006.

John Veldhuis

John Veldhuis started writing for BadgerBlitz.com in March of 2012, after covering the Wisconsin Badgers for two years at Bucky's 5th Quarter, as well as some freelance work. Veldhuis specializes in day-to-day coverage of Wisconsin Athletics, with a focus on Wisconsin football and men's basketball. Veldhuis also contributes to BadgerBlitz.com's football and basketball recruiting coverage, and appears on Yahoo! Sports Radio to talk about anything related to Wisconsin sports.
Veldhuis won the Tom Butler Scholarship in June of 2012, which is presented by the Madison Sports Hall of Fame Club, and was named a 'Top Tweeter' about the Wisconsin Badgers by the Big Ten Network in the spring of 2012.
Originally from Lakeville, Minn., Veldhuis earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Journalism and Mass Communication in the spring of 2013. He is a member of the Football Writers Association of America, and wrote about fantasy baseball for the Badger Herald website in the spring of 2011.

Dan Sanger

Dan Sanger has been with BadgerBlitz.com for the last two years shooting photos of Wisconsin football, men's basketball and hockey. The highlight of Sanger's experience was shooting the Duke at Wisconsin men's basketball game and Ohio State at Wisconsin men's basketball game at the Kohl Center.
Sanger first became interested in sports photography as a senior in high school as the sports photographer for the school's yearbook. His interested continued after taking photography classes in college at Indiana University Northwest.
After moving to Madison from Indiana in 2006, Sanger began shooting pictures of Badger football for Indiana Football Digest as part of the Regional Radio Sports team from South Bend, Ind. Sanger also covered the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis and in the fall of 2005, Sanger covered the Bears' training camp for Regional Radio Sports.
