The sixth time was a charm for Wisconsin in its pursuit of 2019 offensive lineman Logan Brown.
Saturday, during visit No. 6 to Madison - dating back to his first camp stop in the summer of 2016 - Brown, a 6-foot-6, 295-pound tackle, committed to the Badgers.
The No. 3 player in the country at his position, Brown chose Wisconsin, which was the first school to offer, over 20-plus scholarship opportunities. Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, Virginia Tech and North Carolina were also top contenders in his recruitment.
Brown, the No. 28 player in the country, is pledge No. 3 for UW in the 2019 class along with linebacker Leo Chenal and quarterback Graham Mertz.
