VIDEO: Wisconsin targets at the WBY Shootout

MEQUON -- A number of Wisconsin targets took part in the WBY Shootout at Concordia University earlier this week, a group that included Sam Hauser, Jordan McCabe and John Diener, among others.

Stevens Point sophomore forward Joey Hauser scored 21 points Wednesday night during a 77-64 win over Germantown.

The 6-foot-8, 200-pound prospect already has an offer from Wisconsin, and assistant coach Lamont Paris was in attendance for his most recent game.

Over a two-game stretch at the WBY Shootout, sophomore point guard Jordan McCabe poured in 55 points in wins over Milwaukee Washington (34) and Homestead (21) to help Kaukauna (7-0) stay undefeated on the season.

A 5-foot-11, 160-pound prospect, McCabe has early offers from Missouri, Green Bay, DePaul, Milwaukee and West Virginia, with strong interest coming from Notre Dame, Stanford, Wisconsin and Iowa.

Sophomore guard John Diener scored a game-high 23 points but Cedarburg fell to Wauwatosa East, 56-51, at the WBY Shootout on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound prospect has early offers from Milwaukee and Green Bay, and recently took an unofficial visit to Wisconsin for its game against Marquette.

Junior forward Bennett Vander Plas, who has offers from IUPUI, Milwaukee and Green Bay, scored 16 points in a losing effort against Marshall on Wednesday at the WBY Shootout.

A 6-foot-7, 220-pound prospect, Vander Plas has also received recruiting attention from Wisconsin, Creighton and Northern Iowa, among others.

Junior wing Terrence Lewis knocked down seven 3-pointers en route to a 30-point performance during Milwaukee Riverside's win over De Pere on Tuesday at the WBY Shootout.

A 6-foot-6, 180-pound prospect, Lewis has offers from Auburn, Ohio, Milwaukee and Chicago State, among others.
