MIAMI - For a quarter, it looked like the No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers had done what they couldn’t afford to do against the No. 10 Miami Hurricanes. They turned the ball over on their opening drive, bringing out Miami’s much-hyped Turnover Chain. They gave up chunk plays on defense, two of which went for touchdowns that put UW in a 14-3 hole heading in to the second quarter. For a time, it looked like the Badgers would finish their 2017 season without a signature win - spoiling a once promising year.
