Notable: A 1st team All-State kicker as a junior and senior....Ranked as the No. 7 kicker in the nation by Rivals.com....He hit a 54-yard field goal in a game and has connected from more than 60 yards in practice.

Notable: In a deep year for running backs in New Jersey, Watkins is one of the very best.....Ranked as a 4-star All-American by Rivals.com.....Ranked as the 20th best running back by Rivals.com....Rushed for more than 1,000 yards during each of the last two years.....Could also play linebacker in college.
Quotable: "(Watkins) is very quick to the hole and runs much bigger than his size would indicate. He can break tackles and can run very well between the tackles." - Prep Football Report.
Schools: Due to Darrell Wilson dismissal Watkins will now open up the recruiting process. He is no longer a Badger commitment, but will still consider Wisconsin.

Notable: From same high school that produced Badgers Jamar Fletcher and Scott Starks.....A very explosive player athletically who runs a 4.4 in the 40.....He's been timed at 10.8 in the 100-meters and was part of Hazelwood's relay team that won a state championship.....Listed as a 3-star regional All-American by Prep Football Report....Also one of the state's top punt and kickoff returners.

Notable: Son of former Oakland Raider safety Mike Davis Sr., Davis played cornerback in high school, but was being considered as a safety/outside linebacker walk-on prospect for Wisconsin.

Malta (Montana) High School
Notable: One of the nation's premiere kickers, Roberts owns the Montana state records for number of field goals and point-after attempts.
Quotable: "Oklahoma wants me to come in and kick right away as a true freshman. I looked hard at Wisconsin and Northwestern, but all of the people in Oklahoma and the environment there was perfect for me." -- Josh Roberts

Bloomington (MN) Jefferson High School
Notable: Rivals lists Sykora as a 3-star recruit, after a season in which he caught nearly 30 passes. His brother, David, is a defensive tackle at Minnesota. Wisconsin is looking at him as a walk-on prospect.
Schools: Considering Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Wyoming, but doesn't have an offer from any of those schools.
DB, Jo Jo Walker, 5-10, 165
Carrollton (Texas) Creekview High School
Notable: Ranked as a 4-star All-American by Prep Football Report.....Ranked as a 3-star All-American by Rivals.com.....Listed as the 35th best defensive back in the nation....A very athletic player who runs a reported 4.4 in the 40.....Also returns kicks.
Quotable: "He is very fluid in his movements and gets an outstanding break on the ball. He's also very effective when coming up to stop the run." - Prep Football Report.
Schools: Did not have a good visit to Madison, will decide between Ohio State and Maryland.
WR Brandon White, 6-3, 171
Palm Beach (FL.) Dwyer High School
Notable: White runs a 4.4 40-yard dash, and has great leaping ability. A track specialist, White has long jumped 22 feet, six inches.

Schools: Considering many schools, including offers from Memphis, So. Miss, Marshall, Iowa and Kansas State.
DECEMBER 14TH VISITS
WR Jason Avant, 6-2, 200
Chicago (IL.) Carver High School
Notable: One of the top receivers in the Midwest, Avant is a 4-star Rivals recruit that finished the season with 960 yards and 12 touchdowns, with six interceptions on defense.
He runs a 4.4 40-yard dash.
Quotable: "(My Wisconsin official visit) was fine. I liked the players. The school is nice. I still have Tennessee Jan. 11, but I might not make it to January. Michigan and Wisconsin are tied for the lead. I might decide before January." - Jason Avant

CB/WR Marcus Binns, 6-0, 175
Los Angeles Dorsey High School
Notable: Binns is a 3-star receiver that caught 30 passes for more than 450 yards and nine touchdowns last season, while not giving up a single touchdown pass all season. He is being recruited for track as well, as he runs a 4.4 and a 10.63 100-meter dash.
Quotable: "I probably had 10 passes completed on me this year. But nothing deep. (Steve) Smith caught a 16-yarder on me in the championship game, but it deflected off my hands. I should have intercepted it." - Marcus Binns
Schools: Loved his visit to Wisconsin, but will also make trips to USC (Jan. 11) and San Jose State (Jan. 18).

Irving (Texas) Nimitz High School
Notable: Had amassed 3,700 yards and 42 touchdowns before blowing out his knee as a senior....Played both running back and corner back in high school.
Quotable: "I'm a breakaway back, but for me to breakaway, the majority of the time I can either fake someone and get away from them, or I can run them over." - Phillip Fuller.
Schools: Committed to Wisconsin.
LB Elliot Goode, 6-2, 225
Manlius (NY) Fayetteville-Manlius High School
Notable: Goode is a speedy, explosive linebacker prospect that chose Wisconsin over Syracuse in a tough decision. Goode is a track athlete with nearly 4.5 speed. He ran an 11.5 in the 100 meters last season.

Notable: Committed before his senior season...also an accomplished wrestler, and has played high school baseball, tennis and track & field...prospective education major has a 3.9 grade point average.

Notable: A 3-star running back, Smith finished with 1,450 yards and 15 touchdowns rushing this season, leading his team to a playoff berth for the first time in three decades...Wisconsin offered Smith when he participated in its summer camp June 15

Notable: Rushed for 2,019 yards and 40 touchdowns this season...considered one of the top tailbacks in the Midwest, but wasn't as highly recruited because he's not yet qualified...posted the fasted 40-time (4.45) at Purdue's summer camp in 2001...lettered four seasons, rushing for 600 yards as a freshman.
Quotable: "He was very rarely was ever tackled by one man. It constantly took two men to take him down. So he's not just a sprinter, where you get his jersey and you drag him down. Joliet (IL) Catholic High School
Notable: A 4-Star back, Zwierzynski rushed for 2,300 yards this season...Turned a lot of heads with his junior campaign, helping Joliet win the state title with an undefeated 14-0 season, rushing for 2,073 yards, 29 touchdowns and averaging 7.9 yards per carry.

Schools: Penn State leads Wisconsin, Notre Dame and Boston College.

Arlington (TX) Lamar High School
Notable: Is being recruited to run track as well, and plans to participate in both sports...A standout athlete in the 100 and 200 meters...Has not yet received an offer from Wisconsin...Had 25 catches for 260 yards and two touchdowns during his senior season.
