WATCH: Paul Chryst looks ahead to Purdue

MADISON, Wis. - Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst met with media members at his weekly press conference on Monday, giving a few updates about his team as they turn their attention to Purdue after beating Nebraska last Saturday. The video above is courtesy of UWBadgers.com.

-- Chryst said that he has full confidence in A.J. Taylor on kickoff returns - despite Taylor fumbling on two kickoff returns over the last two games. The Badgers have recovered the ball both times, but it doesn't sound like the Badgers are thinking about making a change on that special teams unit.

-- Chryst said that Bradrick Shaw has done a good job of handling losing out on reps at the running back position to Jonathan Taylor, and said that he's still getting back to being fully healthy after missing Wisconsin's second game of the season.

"Bradrick is a good teammate, and he's a good running back," Chryst said. "And as he continues to get more and more healthy, that will be good for him."

-- Chryst liked how reserve offensive lineman Jason Erdmann filled in at left guard for Jon Dietzen and Micah Kapoi against Nebraska. Dietzen and Kapoi are both listed as questionable for the week with their injuries, so the Badgers might have to rely on Erdmann again this weekend against the Boilermakers.

-- The Badgers do not have a timetable for senior defensive end Chikwe Obasih's return from a leg injury yet, but Chryst said that Obasih's workload has increased recently as he rehabs.
