The BadgerBlitz.com staff - Jon McNamara, John Veldhuis and Jonathan Mills - will break down Wisconsin's 2017 schedule into four quarters and make predictions for each game. Quarter 4 features Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota:

QUARTER 1 | QUARTER 2 | QUARTER 3 |

11/11/2017: Wisconsin vs. Iowa (11:00 TBD)

Veldhuis: Wisconsin 24, Iowa 17

Wisconsin came in to the Iowa game rolling at 9-0 on the season and ranked inside the Top 10, but the Hawkeyes gave the Badgers all they could handle in a four-quarter game. And while the road team in this series has won the last six games, the Badgers broke the streak inside Camp Randall Stadium by scoring the go-ahead touchdown on a 60-yard run by freshman running back Jonathan Taylor mid-way through the fourth quarter, and the UW defense held off a late drive led Iowa quarterback (and Wisconsin native) Nathan Stanley to keep the Badgers undefeated - and heading in to a huge game week in Madison with Michigan coming in to town.

Mills: Wisconsin 24, Iowa 12

The current statistics are close - Wisconsin enters the game with 45 wins versus Iowa’s 43 overall. Nonetheless, UW’s offense was sluggish at first, but Alex Hornibrook still finished with a 75 percent completion percentage. Iowa quarterback Nathan Stanley gets inside the red zone multiple times, but cannot cap off any scoring drive with a touchdown. Credit to the Badger defense here, with multiple stops within the 10-yard line by Chikwe Obasih and Alec James. Make that 46 total wins.

McNamara: Wisconsin 13, Iowa 10

This is once again the traditional slugfest the two Big Ten programs have been accustom to. Neither team was able to generate much offense, but a fourth-quarter field goal by Rafael Gaglianone proved to be the difference in the game as Wisconsin stays undefeated on the season.

11/18/2017: Wisconsin vs. Michigan (TBD)

Veldhuis: Michigan 20, Wisconsin 17

The Wolverines ended Wisconsin's dream of an undefeated regular season by kicking a game-winning field goal as time expired, preventing the game from going to overtime after the Badgers rallied to score 10 points and tie up the game in the fourth quarter. The Wolverines kept UW off the scoreboard early in the game by shutting down Wisconsin's three-headed rushing attack, and Alex Hornibrook's two interceptions killed promising drives in the second half.

Mills: Michigan 30, Wisconsin 14

Another big test for the Badgers and another conference disappointment. Despite the departure of running back De’Von Smith, Chris Evans has a career performance against the Badgers fatigued defensive line (108 yards, two touchdowns). Early in the first quarter, Alex Hornibrook goes down with an ankle injury, throwing backup freshman Jack Coan into the fire. Coan plays until the second quarter, but shows a flash of potential with a nice 15-yard throw to Jazz Peavy. Regardless, Wisconsin cannot muster the ability to overcome the Wolverines.

McNamara: Wisconsin 21, Michigan 17

Wisconsin's schedule has been relatively weak up to this point, but Paul Chryst and his group make a big statement to the college football wold with a win over Michigan. The Badgers offensive line helps UW generate over 300 yards on the ground as tailback Chris James explodes for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, safety D'Cota Dixon comes up with a big fourth-quarter interception to seal the contest for Wisconsin.

11/25/2017: Wisconsin at Minnesota (TBD)

Veldhuis: Wisconsin 27, Minnesota 14

Wisconsin took their loss to Michigan and turned it into a strong performance against the Gophers, who gave up an early two-score lead to the Badgers in the first quarter and couldn't row their boat all the way back into the game. UW had already clinched their division and a berth in the Big Ten title game, but kept their focus after last week's heartbreaking loss to retain Paul Bunyan's Axe for another year, thanks in part to two more touchdown passes from Alex Hornibrook - one to Danny Davis and another to Jazz Peavy.

Mills: Wisconsin 35, Minnesota 24

The Badgers offense comes back to life against the Gophers. Even under new head coach P.J. Fleck, Minnesota does not have an algorithm to solve the Badgers. Although Minnesota gets ahead 10-0 in the first, the floodgates open in the second. Alex Hornibrook rushes for 23 yards in the quarter, Bradrick Shaw scores two touchdowns and an angered Wisconsin defense intercepts a throw from quarterback Demry Croft. This sets the tone for the rest of the game.

McNamara: Wisconsin 28, Minnesota 27

This is actually Wisconsin's scariest game on the 2017 schedule. After a huge win over the Wolverines, the Badgers come out flat against Minnesota, which is looking to become bowl eligible in the final week of the regular season. The Gophers take a 13-point lead into the fourth quarter, but UW rallies all the way back to escape with a road victory.
