At a Glance

The No. 11 Wisconsin Badgers are back on their home floor after suffering back-to-back losses to conference opponents. Unfortunately for UW the next matchup on the calendar is the ever-dangerous No. 23 Maryland Terrapins. Both teams sit a single win behind the Purdue Boilermakers in the race for first place in the Big Ten. Wisconsin may be without star point guard Bronson Koenig - who is currently dealing with an injury - while Maryland’s Melo Trimble just set a new career-high with 32 points in the Terps’ win over Northwestern on Wednesday. With only four more games following the Top 25 battle before the Big Ten Tournament kicks off, both programs will be looking to put a gigantic late-season stamp on their postseason résumé.

Last Time Out

It was clear from the tip that Melo Trimble was going to have a special night in Evanston on Wednesday night. The junior guard finished with 32 points on 17 shots, including four 3-pointers. Coming off of successive losses early in February, it was important for the Terps to get back on track with March right around the corner, and that's exactly what they did – leading the game for all but the first 46 seconds.

Quick Facts

- Last year each school won on the opposing team’s court.

- Melo Trimble, who is currently averaging 17.2 PPG, leads the Maryland attack.
