The Furtney family car is certainly being put to the test this month.

"Thankfully it's my parents car," joked Michael Furtney, a standout in the 2018 class who holds no less than 25 scholarship offers.

One of the hottest prospects in the Midwest, the 6-foot-5, 265-pound offensive lineman from Milan High School in Michigan recently wrapped up a college tour that included stops at Vanderbilt, Missouri, Iowa State, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Furtneys are back on the road this weekend with trips to Indiana and Michigan State on the itinerary.

"We decided to visit as many campuses that we could to see and learn everything that we can about every football program," Furtney told BadgerBlitz.com. "That way when I make my commitment, I am 100 percent sure that is the right school for me.

"I'm not the kind of kid who will commit to a school and then decommit because I found something better."
