MADISON, Wis. - Fall camp is just around the corner for the Wisconsin Badgers, who are set to hold their first practice of the season on Saturday morning at Camp Randall stadium, the first of 24 preseason practices for UW before they open up their 2017 season against Utah State on Sept. 1.

But before they officially kicked off camp the Badgers held their local media day on Friday afternoon at Camp Randall, and BadgerBlitz.com was there to take in all of the action. Our notes from talking with UW players and coaches about their expectations for the season are included below.

Dominoes starting to fall on offensive line

With several experienced players set to return to the team in 2017, Wisconsin's top priority at offensive line this fall is to figure out what their best starting five would be. And while things are still up in the air - and they haven't held a practice yet - we got a good idea of who will play where on Friday afternoon during media day.

Offensive coordinator (and offensive line coach) Joe Rudolph said that redshirt freshman Tyler Biadasz has earned the right to start off camp working with the first team line at center, which creates a domino effect that allows the Badgers to start junior captain Michael Deiter at left tackle, and keep sophomore David Edwards at right tackle. The guard spots seem relatively settled as well, with Beau Benzschawel returning to his role at right guard and Jon Dietzen staying at left guard.
