Over the next two weeks, BadgerBlitz.com will be bringing you snapshots for each recruited position, covering the targets who are legitimate prospects on Wisconsin's board in the 2019 class. We will discuss the candidates who are most interested in the Badgers, as well as those who are considered long shots to commit to UW.

As always, this is just a snapshot in time and things remain fluid. Additional offered targets will appear over the next few months and some recruits will inevitably choose other colleges.

Today, we conclude with a look at the cornerbacks.

Quick Breakdown

Seniors Derrick Tindal and Lubern Fiagro, along with junior Nick Nelson, are the upperclassmen and could very well be the top three corners on the 2017 roster. Behind them, Dontye Carriere-Williams, Caesar Williams, Madison Cone and Faion Hicks, as expected, are largely unproven because of their freshman (true and redshirt) status. Titus Booker is also entering his redshirt sophomore season.

The staff is very high on 2018 commits Alex Smith and Travian Blaylock - particularly Blaylock, who chose the Badgers over Stanford this summer. In order to maintain eight scholarship athletes at the position - the number UW is at currently - the staff would only need one in the 2019 cycle. That said, taking two in each class has worked well thus far and that could be the plan once again moving forward.
