The Wisconsin Badgers added three-star wide receiver Taj Mustapha to their 2018 recruiting class Thursday. Here's what Mustapha's commitment means for head coach Paul Chryst moving forward.

Skillset

If you trust the the judgement of position coach Ted Gilmore, you have to love the addition to Taj Mustpha, who earned his offer at camp earlier this month. While in Madison, Mustapha, 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, ran crisp routes and displayed excellent hands. The three-star prospect also got a feel for his future quarterback, Chase Wolf, who threw to him during that particular camp.

But, according to West Bloomfield (MI) head coach Ron Bellamy, Mustapha's ball skills separate him from the pack.

"Taj has unbelievable ball skills - I have not met a receiver in my years doing high school football that is better than him in that department," Bellamy told BadgerBlitz.com. "We call him 'Steady Eddie' because he catches everything and runs every route. He’s the ultimate competitor and always wants to go against the best. And with Taj, no one is going to outwork him and he’s definitely been a special kid to work with."

On film, Mustapha is also a willing blocker, something that could help him see the field early at Wisconsin. And though he's expected to line up on the outside, Mustapha is versatile enough to move all over the field.
