MADISON, Wis. - The 2014-15 Big Ten men's basketball regular season schedule was announced Thursday evening live on Big Ten Network. The Wisconsin Badgers will open up their Big Ten slate by hosting Penn State at the Kohl Center on December 31.
The Badgers' first Big Ten road test of the season comes in a trip to Evanston, Ill. on January 4 when they will face Northwestern.
Bo Ryan and his team will get their first look at Big Ten-newcomers Rutgers and Maryland on January 11 and February 24 respectively. Both games will be on the road, with neither team making a trip to the Kohl Center.
The end of January provides the Badgers with a three-game stretch where they host Iowa (January 20), travel to Michigan (January 24), and travel to Iowa (January 31).
In February, the Badgers will host Indiana, Northwestern, Illinois and Minnesota, and travel to Nebraska, Penn State and Maryland.
To begin the madness that is March, the Badgers will host Michigan State on March 1. Four days later, the Badgers will head to The Barn to take on Minnesota before traveling to Ohio State on March 8 to wrap up their regular season schedule.
The Big Ten Tournament will be held from March 11-15 at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. The top 10 seeds will receive a first-round bye, and the top four seeds will receive a first and second round bye.
