BADGERS LAND FIFTH COMMITMENT

Wisconsin just landed its fifth commitment this season, as Randy Gyllin, a left offensive tackle from Mauston, Wis., has given his verbal commitment to the Badgers.
Gyllin is a 6-4, 290-pounder who was 2nd team all-state in 2000.

The Badgers saw Gyllin on film, liked what they saw, and Offensive Line Coach Jim Hueber went to his game vs. Poynette two weeks ago to give him an official offer.
After making a trip up to Madison on Monday (Oct. 8th) and visiting with John Dettmann, coaches and academic advisors, Gyllin called to commit to the Badgers.
Scout Tom Lemming of Prep Football Report ranks Gyllin as a 3-star regional All-American. Lemming calls Randy "a dominant run blocker, who is athletic with long arms and quick hands."
Gyllin is the first offensive line commitment for this class and the fifth overall to announce for Wisconsin.
Inside Wisconsin will be talking with Gyllin after his practice this evening, and we'll have more on the commitment later tonight.
