Badgers keeping up with Albright
The Wisconsin Badgers have made a conscious effort to recruit in Georgia, and they extended their 14th scholarship offer in the state to defensive back Cameron Albright on Tuesday. Albright confirmed the offer to BadgerBlitz.com, and said it was part of a big week for him as a whole.

"I think I picked up about three offers this week," Albright told BadgerBlitz.com Thursday evening. "Three offers, almost four. Texas Tech and N.C. State were on Monday, and on Tuesday Wisconsin offered. My coach also told me to call the coach from Georgia Tech. Their coach didn't answer but my coach said they wanted to offer me also."
Albright said the offer from Wisconsin came after running backs coach and recruiting coordinator Thomas Hammock visited his high school earlier in the week. The two spoke previously over the phone.
"He talked to my coach about coming (to Madison) to get a visit to see if I would like them. I really need to get up there since I have an offer," Albright said.
Albright said he hasn't decided on whether he'll visit the Badgers, but he said he and Hammock have a good relationship so far.
"Me and him are cool," Albright said. "We joke around a lot. We never talked about much besides football, but he seems like a good guy and me and him get along pretty well."
Though the Badgers have been in touch recently, they're facing some pretty stiff competition to win Albright's commitment. Albright said North Carolina has been in touch with him the most, and that's an important factor for him.
"(North Carolina) is definitely keeping in touch with me," Albright said. "I talked to coach Fedora I think once a week, sometimes twice a week. They're sending up (two coaches) next week to see me practice."
On top of that, Albright said schools that are relatively close to his home in Kennesaw, Ga., get an extra bonus because it would be easier for his parents to come and watch him play every now and then.
"I want to stay in the Southeast, pretty much," Albright said. "No farther than maybe Mississippi, no higher than maybe Virginia or Maryland or something like that."
But while Wisconsin is pretty far away from home, Albright said he will still consider them and any other school that keeps in touch with him and shows that they want him to sign with them next spring.
"Coming by the school this spring or even before this spring, that shows interest," Albright said. "And them keeping in touch with me - not talking to me one day and giving me a camp brochure and not talking to me after that. That doesn't show a lot of interest.
"However much interest a school shows in me is how much I'll show back to them, or a little more for my part."
Albright said he wants to make a decision sometime in the middle of June, a few months before the start of his senior year of high school.
"Schools that come by and visit this spring- that's going to show me how much they really want me," Albright said.
