Brown talks last minute decision
West Palm Beach, Fla. defensive end Malik Brown wasn't sure where he'd be playing college football when he laid his head down to go to sleep on Tuesday night. Then in suddenly, around 2:30 this morning, he knew.
"I woke up in the middle of the night and felt like Tennessee," Brown said. "I was just thinking about Butch Jones. I like a lot of loyalty and that's why I chose Tennessee. He feels like a real loyal dude."
Brown visited Tennessee last weekend and left campus feeling good about the Vols' program. In the end, he felt like Rocky Top was the best decision for his football future.
"I think Tennessee was a better business decision," Brown said. "I think it's the program that fits me the best. The academic tools, facilities, fan base all fell in Tennessee's hands."
